We are one month removed from All Elite Wrestling's presentation of All Out, which featured the dissolution of the Blackpool Combat Club with Jon Moxley attacking Bryan Danielson, and "Hangman" Adam Page defeating Swerve Strickland in a "Lights Out" Steel Cage match that featured a violent ending. Now, AEW is back with another pay-per-view event.

WrestleDream has quickly established itself as a must-see event on the AEW calendar, showcasing not only high-stakes matchups but also bouts seen as “dream matches”. Fans can expect intense championship showdowns, surprise appearances, and storyline climaxes that have been brewing across AEW’s shows, Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. The Tacoma Dome will be packed as wrestlers vie for victory, titles, and respect in a night filled with electrifying energy.

The 2024 WrestleDream is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). This will be the second annual WrestleDream and is set to take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2023, AEW is expected to bring a star-studded lineup and exciting matches for this year’s edition.

I’m pleasantly surprised that the Conglomeration vs. Learning Tree feud progressed past the retread of Jericho and Orange Cassidy’s 2020 feud. I could actually see Jericho and Briscoe having a pretty solid match with one another, and it’s a fresh one at that. As for the winner, I think my worries are eased by the fact that Jericho has already been ROH Champion. If that were a new accomplishment for Jericho, the broken part of me could very easily see Jericho win the gold for the first time. However, between Jericho already being part of the ROH World Championship lineage, Jericho having just recently lost a title, and Mark being more intense than ever before seen in AEW due to Jericho mentioning his late brother in a promo, I highly doubt the title will change hands on Saturday.
Winner: Mark Briscoe

Shane: I’m going to be that guy that says “I wish there was a more concrete separation between AEW and ROH rosters”. Jericho is an AEW performer and should not be anywhere near the ROH World Championship. With that being said, thank goodness he’s already won the title because I don’t see it happening again.
Winner: Mark Briscoe

Jay: This feud scares me. I don’t think Jericho has had many one-off matches during his entire tenure in AEW so I think Jericho might take it here to begin the program. Plus, they do need an attraction for ROH and sending Jericho there, in theory, may work. But also, we have had several ROH champions just never appear on the show so idk.asdsadsad
