From a Rebel Fan

As a member of the Ole Miss family please know that each and every one of us are saying a prayer or sending wishes to the Tulane family and Mr Walker. We know the struggles that he faces after Chuckie was hurt. I hope that one day soon we can all watch and cheer as Mr Walker walks across the stage and get his degree from Tulane!

Good luck Green Wave!!! See you all in a couple of weeks and may he be on the sidelines if not in body then in spirit!

Should be on the phone NOW with these schools...

We all want to win. We all want to have some schools fans can travel to. I want to have rivalries and interest. I want to be on ESPN 1-2 times a year even if it is Wednesday night. One home game year on a Wed.-Fri. is invaluable to our conference. We can do another on the road.

In this order...

1. Temple
2. UMASS
3. Louisiana Tech
4. FIU
5. MTSU
6. ULM
7. WKU
8. FAU
9. Arkansas State
10. Troy
11. Charlotte

The first seven in-order that say yes, you go from there and move on with an all new, all sports, 12 team conference.

Period.

Even better, move Charlotte to the top of the list and give them three years. Invite eight others and we play 2013 and 2014 with 13 schools. In 2014 Charlotte makes it an even 14.

Good basketball and decent football on the east coast with teams that we would allenjoy playing!

If you want, move Arkansas State up the list and swap ULL for LT. Either way...

My Message to the Tulane Fans On Eric Price

My name is Craig Evans. I run Kyyotesden.com, a UTEP Miners site. I just thought I'd tell you a little about Eric Price. When Mike Price became our HC, he opened practices up to the public. Practice was on my way home from work, so I began to stop each day and watch. I got to know the coaches. Eric is a really good man. One of the best I have ever met. I think that is the most important thing I can tell you. You don't have to worry about his character, or that he will cause any problems for your school.

Now, as for football, I believe you have just hit the jackpot. In 2002 our Offense was ranked 98th, nationally. In 2003 it was ranked 74th. Mike Price took over in 2004. His Offensive Coordinator was Eric. Eric had been with the Jets, where he worked with Chad Pennington. In Price's first year, with the same team that had won two games a season the previous two seasons, the offense went from 74th ranked to 42nd ranked. That team went 8-4 during the regular season. The next year, the team again went 8-4. The offense went from 42nd to 31st in the country. In 2006, the offense was ranked 39th in the land. Jordan Palmer, our quarterback under Eric's offense finished his career at UTEP, breaking just about every passing record along the way.

The 2007 season UTEP started a freshman quarterback named Trevor Vittatoe. Under Eric Price's offense, the passing offense was the 26th best in the country with that freshman quarterback.

When Herm Edwards was the HC at the Chiefs, he offered Eric a chance to get back into the NFL. Eric spent a season there, but after the end of that season Edwards was let go. Still under contract with the Chiefs, Eric sat out the next year.

Larry Porter, in his first job as head coach, brought Eric in as the OC for Memphis. Porter had no experience as a head coach, and Eric was the OC in name only, as Porter scrambled and swapped coaches duties around. I mention his time at Memphis only to say that you should not pay any attention to the offense's production at Memphis as an indication of what kind of job Eric will do.

During his time at UTEP, the Miners offense averaged ranking 37th in the country. He is an excellent recruiter. You may or may not be successful under a new coach, but you won't have to worry about your offensive coordinator.

Best of luck next season.

Craig "Kyyote" Evans

Does Tulane use a cannon during football games?

A site I help run, http://www.thegamingtailgate.com, is helping EA Sports gather information for NCAA Football 12 as to whether or not teams use a cannon as part of game day.
Here's a link to the information we have so far: http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/content.php?360-Help-Shape-NCAA-Football-12-Cannons

That said, we haven't been able to find information on Tulane and figured I'd ask your help with the information. Here is what we need:

School: Tulane
Cannon (Yes/No)
Cannon Type (Modern Military or Classic Western)
Fired After Every Score (Yes/No)
Inside Stadium/Field Level (Yes/No)

Any information you could provide would be a great help.

Common Sense 2: A Summary View

Common Sense 2: A Summary View, is a modern ode to the works of Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson.

Hello to everyone reading this... This thread is in regards to a new, free book which is now available. The book is called 'Common Sense 2: A Summary View'. The basic intent of the Book is to inform the American people as to what is ACTUALLY going on in our Country and how to truly fix these issues. I tried to take the works of Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson and create a new work for a modern audience. I use common sense explanations to plainly explain the issues we are facing and I then give a slew of Ideals/Principles which lead back to a World of Freedom.

It is NOT a political book...politics is simply a 2-sided argument. The book was written from the perspective of an 'observer'. No sides, no politics, no misinformation, no propaganda...simply, the TRuth.

The book is broken down in 3 sections, which the Table of Contents makes clear when read. The first section is used to explain the corruption and woes that America is currently in. This section explains how the corruption works and how it was put into place.

The second section explains where the American people's Power has been hidden, how to take it back and how to properly use it. This section contains a bunch of original Ideals and Principles to help start creating a better version of America, at the local level.

The third section deals with 'where we are now' and then explains 'where we need to go next.' This section is more philosophical in nature and serves to help create a new possible path for the American to take.

If you enjoy philosophy, Booklet 10 should be right up your alley. It contains The TRuth brand's attempt to further the concept of Natural Rights in a modern, common sense and visual manner. The concept of Natural Rights was last evolved by Thomas Jefferson and it is no longer taught or understood correctly.

Florida qb/ath with big upside

Any interest in a late blooming Florida HS QB/ATH ? 6’3”, 200 4.6 forty
Fully qualified academically. First year at QB, played DB last year.
Grew three inches in last year. Throws 90 mph fastball. You can view his highlight video on YouTube under Kevin Husum
Position coach last year at DB was former FSU star Tai Cody.
Good athlete, will probably grow some more. Just started playing QB in fall practice this year. Was originally RB/DB. Great upside with a shirt year and college coaching

Realize its a long shot but he is a late bloomer who just started taking snaps at qb in fall practice this year and yet passed for almost 2000 yards in Florida 3A. No off field issues and good student.

Could somebody here please forward info to coaching staff.
