Fresh from his AMA Arenacross win last weekend in Loveland, Michael Hicks keep the momentun as he flew to Germany. The Meyer Yamaha´s rider took the early lead and controlled the race until the checkered flag. French duo Jordi Tixier and Greg Aranda rounded the podium in second and third place respectively.

In the SX2 class, 18-year olds Jules Pietre surprise the field by taking the Main Event over American Brandon Ray and countrymen Brice Maylin. On the other hand, Red-plate holder Preston Boesplfug had a terrible night. He went to the LCQ and then crash twice at the Main Event.
In 2021, when the remnants of the COVID-19 pandemic were still affecting major league sports, Justin Barcia outran Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, to win in his third straight season. When the series returned to its accustomed opening location in Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, in 2022, it was reasonable to expect Barcia would run well again. He did, but Roczen held the upper hand, and Cooper Webb finished second. Barcia stood next to them on the bottom rung of the podium.
So, these guys have been the opening-round masters of the field. Two questions: 1) Can either Roczen or Barcia get that opening-round magic back? And 2) if so, could they carry it to more wins throughout 2025a s dsg dfh sfsdg
