There was some thought prior to the start of the season that Jesus Machado might be able to play near the end of the year. Does anyone know his current status and the prognostication about his future?
Patrick Durkin, our new placekicker has played in two games this season. If he plays against Memphis and the two post season games, could he redshirt? His continued success could lead to a scholarship and a redshirt would be nice.
On the subject of walkons receiving sholarships, did any of our walkons receive scholarships this year. There was talk of Richi Rattan possibly receiving one but I don’t recall if that happened.
According to the official site, Michael Lunz, Javion White, and Josh Moore did not play against Navy. They have all played in at least nine games thus far, so their absence was a surprise to me. Does anyone know if they are injured or why they didn’t play?
By my count, we have 24 seniors on scholarship completing their eligibility this year. We have another ten with remaining eligibility who are completing their 4th or 5th year of college, either at Tulane or elsewhere. Does anyone have an idea who of these plan to graduate and depart?
