Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano have both weighed in at the exact same weight for the biggest rematch in women's boxing history. The Bray Bomber and the Puerto Rican challenger both tipped the scales at 137.4lbs for the co-main event to Mike Tyson v Jake Paul at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Taylor makes the first defence of the super-lightweight world titles she won off Chantelle Cameron last November against Serrano on Friday, with the bout being fought at a 138lbs catchweight.

The rematch between undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor, a native of Co Wicklow, and unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano will be fought out on Friday night, November 15. The rematch is a follow-up to the two boxers’ historic bout at Madison Square Garden in April 2022 which saw Taylor walk away victorious after a narrow split decision. The Irish boxer and Puerto Rican boxer were set for a rematch in Dublin last year, but Serrano had to pull out due to an injury, ultimately scuppering the fight.

The Katie Taylor - Amanda Serrano rematch will be available to stream live globally on all Netflix plans, at no additional cost to subscribers. The broadcast will feature live commentary in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.

The pair meet at Dallas' AT&T Stadium on the undercard of 58-year-old Mike Tyson's controversial bout against Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, 27. You can follow live text commentary of Tyson-Paul from 03:00 GMT on Saturday, 16 November on BBC Sport website and app. Taylor claimed a split-decision victory against Serrano in April 2022 to retain her undisputed lightweight crown. The 38-year-old has since suffered the first defeat of her career, losing against Chantelle Cameron, but she avenged that loss by edging the rematch.

Unified featherweight champion Serrano suggested at Wednesday's press conference that she would struggle to get to 138lbs for the rematch of their 2022 Madison Square Garden classic, which was fought at lightweight.

“A lot of people don't acknowledge I am going up through three divisions being the unified featherweight champion," she said. "It's always hard for me and uncomfortable when I have to leave my weight class where I feel comfortable at.

"[I’ve had] to eat a lot more protein, a lot more carbs just to make sure that I feel good at the weight. I'm hoping that I can make at least the 138 tomorrow, but it is what it is.

"I'm chasing greatness and that's going up three divisions to face Katie Taylor once again, and I will be victorious."

Another all out war is expected between two of the all-time female pound-for-pound greats.

"The first fight with Amanda was obviously epic, I know the second fight is going to be even more epic so I can't wait," said Taylor this week. "There's not going to be a lot of feeling out in the second fight, we know each other so well now we spent ten rounds together so we're just going to go straight into an all out war again on Friday night.
