I have the same concerns about our receiving corps. We are woefully thin and, while we are young, I have not seen the "ability" some see. Lack of separation and dropped balls tend to reflect problems of skill, while missed assignment and improper alignment tend to suggest inexperience. Hopefully, all of the problems will be solved with experience.
Nonetheless, we are far too few at the position, though a new commitment to the tight ends and more "downfield" throws to running backs could alleviate some of the issues.
I'd like to see us sign a big blocking tight end this year and at least two wide receivers in the 6'2" range with speed. A lot will depend on how many available slots we eventually have.
Roll Wave!!!
