Just moments ago, former Tulane quarterback Kai Horton announced his verbal commitment to Washington via his Instagram page.
The 6-foot-4, 219-pound Horton saw action in four games as a true freshman, starting in one where he went 7-16 for 79 yards and two interceptions at home versus No. 2 Cincinnati.
In 2022, Horton played in four games. He came off the bench to rally Tulane to a 27-24 overtime victory over Houston. He went 11-21 on the night for 132 yards and three touchdowns.
In his four seasons with the Green Wave, Horton went 64-123 for 833 yards, 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He only threw one pass during the 2024 season, a completion for 9 yards in Tulane's opener against Southeastern Louisiana.
Horton will have one season of eligibility left once he gets to Montlake.
